LEARN WITH A LAWYER - PUSH FOR SETTLEMENT
Should I settle, or should I go to court? This is a question I get on a daily basis by clients. My advice is always push settlement unless there’s absolutely no other options. Not because I’m afraid of litigation, because I believe clients are happier when they walk away if they were able to make the decision to end the case. Otherwise, if you have a trial, you’re having the judge make all of these decisions for you and it takes complete control out of your hands. While trial sometimes is necessary, a trial can get very, very expensive and again, you’re rolling the dice. If I can get a case settled, I always push for settlement
