LEARN WITH A LAWYER - STOP THINKING THAT THE POLICE EXIST TO "CALM THINGS DOWN."

Stop thinking that the Police exist to quote “to calm things down”. I hear this all the time when people come into my office. Well I just called the police because things were out of hand, and I just wanted them to calm the situation down. The police never calm the situation down all they are going to do is investigate crimes and possibly arrest somebody. Its very rare for a loved one to get arrested and that makes the situation calmer or less stressful. So get it out of your head that the Police exist to calm the situation down.
